I’m always upset when I can never find what Lizzo wore. Being one of the (extremely few) Black and fat women in music, she’s also a fashion influencer. And boy, does she hold power in who she tags for ‘fits (or doesn’t).
It was after the Savage X Fenty Vol. 2 show that I stumbled upon my plus size Halloween look. However, the look I stole from Lizzo isn’t the one from the show. In fact, it was the floral glow set that she posted on Instagram that had me suddenly adding my own pieces to my Savage X Fenty cart.
I chose dress as Tiff from ‘Bride of Chucky’
To be honest, I didn’t necessarily buy the outfit to create a plus size Halloween version of Tiff from Bride of Chucky. I just wanted to flex on the ‘gram. However, I realized it was October 24. Plus, there’s still a second look I want to do before the month is out.
Tiff was that girl in Bride of Chucky. Although she didn’t make the best of choices, I think we can all admit the scene that she transforms from a basic bride doll to a bad bitch was a moment for us all. Naturally, I had to emulate that as the true ’90s baby that I am.
Also, I love this kind of Halloween look because I can (clearly) wear this sexy lingerie set for someone special or whenever I’m just feeling myself.
